” As the saying goes, nature is given to us, and we earn it by contributing to it.

However, most people nowadays just want to ask for more from the nature.

In fact, they do very little contribution to the nature.

Therefore, the environment around us is becoming worse and worse.

Do you often use batteries? Then do you know it takes 50 times more energy to make them than they produce? And just one simple battery can pollute as much water as a person can drink in his whole life.

The facts and figures are amazing.

So would you please try to use batteries only when it is necessary? If possible, give the used ones to the recycling companies so that they will be made into new ones and won’t be able to pollute the environment any more.

Sometimes we become complacent when it comes to recycling, but when you speak in terms of actual facts and figures that everybody can understand, people become much clearer about the problem.

We, as school students, can also join in recycling activities to protect the environment.

For example, our class set up a recycling center beside the back door, it is very useful.

It is used to collect the waste paper and plastic bottles.

In the past, our classmates used to throw all of these into the trashcan.

At the very beginning of this collecting activity, it was not so warm-welcomed.

Later, more and more people were influenced by the others and joined this collecting activity.

Gradually, all the students in our class form a good habit to protect the environment.

All of us will now put away the reusable things instead of throwing them into the trashcan.

We should always remember in our mind that protecting the environment is our duty that we can never neglect.

一、建立良好的师生关系，做一名学生喜欢的英语老师。

英语教学中，在学生成长的过程中，他们需要知识，更需要被关爱。关爱既是一种情感，也是一份责任。作为一名英语老师，除了要拥有精湛的业务水平、敬业的精神和全面的知识，更重要的是要像对待自己孩子一样去爱护学生。人与人之间的情感是相互的，虽然学生们年纪还小，但他们心里都有一颗敏感而真诚的心。只要我们真心地关心他们，他们一定会用令人惊喜的回报来回应我们。“深挚的师生情谊让学生对你产生信任，并愿意跟随你的引导前进。” 只有让学生喜欢我们，他们才会信任我们，并朝着我们指引的方向发展。

多年来我在英语教学中积累了丰富的经验，不仅能够激励自卑的学生，指导后进的学生，启示自负的学生，还能发现特殊的学生并为他们提供专门的服务。我对每一个学生都充满关怀和关注，用心与他们进行交流。我用爱和温暖来抚慰他们的心灵，致力于建立师生平等、和谐相处的关系，共同进步，打造一个温馨的学习家园。

二、狠抓英语课堂教学，构建“和谐高效、思维对话”型英语课堂。

现在正处于应试教育向素质教育转轨时期，既要求减轻负担，又要求提高教育质量，这就要求我必须在英语课堂上下功夫，提高英语课堂教学效率，我通常注重以下几个方面：

1、认真备课。

大家都知道，备好课是上好课的前提，备课包括三方面，备教材、备学生、备教法。备教材。我总是提前翻阅各种材料、教师用书、学习资料及以往的相应试题，对于哪些是重点难点，哪些知识点扩展到什么程度，会以什么形式出题，做到心中有数。备学生，就是要了解学生的年龄特点、接受能力、知识储备情况，这样可以避免起点太高，学生听不懂，或起点太低，学生感到无聊的情况。备教法。每一级每个班学生特点各不相同，所以我非常注重仔细研究学生，采取适合学生的方法导入新课，用学生易于掌握的方法讲解新知，用学生感兴趣的方法组织课堂活动。

2、用激情带动学生，焕发英语课堂活力。

我希望在充分准备好的基础上，每当走进教室时都能充满热情。哪怕身体不舒服，心里烦恼，一站到讲台前，我都会带着微笑，精力充沛地面对学生们。我会充满激情地讲课，抑扬顿挫，因为快乐的.情绪是可以传染的。如果我能将愉快的情绪和积极的心态传递给学生们，他们的英语学习效率可能会大大提高。

3、关注每个学生，提高课堂凝聚力。

讲课时，我的视线遍布每个角落，始终用眼光爱抚每个学生，学生的每个动作和眼神都逃不过我的眼睛，并且与学生进行眼神的交流，久而久之，每个学生都会感到老师一直在关注我，从而使他们集中注意力，认真听讲。

4、精讲多练，提高英语课堂效率。

初中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。如果英语老师是“一张嘴，一支笔，从上课讲到下课。”的教学模式，就会出现“老师讲得天花乱坠，学生听得昏昏欲睡”的现象。新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位，少讲多练。少讲并不意味着粗略讲解，一带而过。初中生的接受能力还是有限的，对于重难点的知识，我会根据学生特点细致的讲解，多举例，多操练，讲一点，练一点，讲练结合，让大多数学生都能跟上，参与活动。讲得太粗太快，学生跟不上，学不会，久而久之，就会慢慢失去学习兴趣。俗话说“庄稼齐了才打粮”，只照顾尖子生，不符合素质教育的理念。一定要面向全体学生，才会取得良好的英语教学效果。

I really think that this lie that weve been sold about disability is the greatest injustice. It makes life hard for us. And that quote, "The only disability in life is a bad attitude," the reason that thats bullshit is because its just not true, because of the social model of disability. No amount of smiling at a flight of stairs has ever made it turn into a ramp. Never. (Laughter) (Applause) Smiling at a television screen isnt going to make closed captions appear for people who are deaf. No amount of standing in the middle of a bookshop and radiating a positive attitude is going to turn all those books into braille. Its just not going to happen.

But now the rubbish was getting more and more leaves，fruit skins，dead ducks and chickens…r rotting ，not only the mosquitos flew around but also the bad smell made everyone feel quite gh the stream was cleaned up several times， it’s still happening now. A lot of plastic bags always float on it summmer we have to go far away from the village to swim.

What causes this? Who is the devil?It’s the human ourselves. I have got to known from a book rubbish in the countryside mostly occupies the fields and damages the earth’s surface pollutes soil，wave，atmosphere and damages our health. But today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious, A lot of land has gone with them. This is a lesson from nature.

When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make farmland. They don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild animals. If the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place.

In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.

The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature.

What life is about

“Good morning! Ladies and gentlemen”. Today, the title of my speech is “What life is about”

As we all know, the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it, lots of men have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed, and here are some of the tips they left us. Life isn’t about keeping score. Life isn’t about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. In fact it’s not about if you have lots of friends or if you are alone, and it’s not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn’t about that.

But life is about whom you love and who you hurt. It’s about how you feel about yourself. It’s about trust, happiness and compassion. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It’s about what you say and what you mean. It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. And we should always remember to be ourselves. Other might have things that we desire but being what we really are is the only trail leading to the true colors of life. Most of all, it’s about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could have never been achieved otherwise.

We’ve learnt how to make a living but not a life, we’ve added years to life, but not life to years. And it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life.

And these choices are what life is about.

I really think that this lie that weve been sold about disability is the greatest injustice. It makes life hard for us. And that quote, "The only disability in life is a bad attitude," the reason that thats bullshit is because its just not true, because of the social model of disability. No amount of smiling at a flight of stairs has ever made it turn into a ramp. Never. (Laughter) (Applause) Smiling at a television screen isnt going to make closed captions appear for people who are deaf. No amount of standing in the middle of a bookshop and radiating a positive attitude is going to turn all those books into braille. Its just not going to happen.

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers; we buy more but enjoy them less. We’ve learnt how to make a living but not a life, we’ve added years to life, but not life to years. And it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life.

And these choices are what life is about.

首先，感谢各位领导的关心和帮助，感谢李平英、赖玲、龚丽三位备课组长的支持，感谢初中英语组全体姐妹的凝心聚力。正是有了以上这些条件和基石，教研组工作才得以顺利地开展和推进。我们本学期的工作大致可以归纳为以下几个板块。

一、积极参与完成各级各类的工作任务。

中美学校交流活动，市优秀论文、课件比赛，高新区九年级英语复习研讨会、八年级教学研讨会，高新区英语微格课比赛等，组内老师积极参与，圆满完成任务并取得良好效果。每当有类似活动的时候，老师们都会主动地调课，尽量参加。八年级的教学研讨会，七年级的老师也主动去。微格课比赛，刘献慧老师参赛，陪赛的老师们早早地到达，占据最佳位置，录像、做笔记等。特别值得一提的是刘学真老师。她是我们组的“大姐”，是自贡市骨干教师，并已是高级职称，但她非常谦虚，对待工作仍然非常积极、主动，这让我备受鼓舞。

二、备课组同课异构活动

本学期，教研组公开课开课率达到100%。除张泽辉老师产假以外，其余老师全部参与公开课。以往的公开课都是老师们自己选内容来上，往往都会选自己擅长的，好上的部分。而且每个老师的内容不一样，相处几年，大家都熟悉了，似乎都对这种方式疲惫了。而本学期，开学之初，张主任要求教研组先自己上报公开课教师名单，我的第一反应是全体老师都上。但怎么上？如果乱七八糟，不成系统，大家也不会那么地重视，上了可能意义不大。想到之前参加了几次市级初中英语同课异构活动，感触颇深。所以就想尝试一下。九年级针对中考复习专题，八年级针对阅读课专题，七年级针对听说课专题开展了备课组的同课异构。备课组的老师集中在一个半天，上同一个内容，大家一下就重视起来了。最开头我还有点担心有的老师不接受，但事实证明我多虑了。我把这个想法和决定告诉老师们的时候，大家都很支持。特别是七年级和八年级，效果特别好。老师们从教学设计、课件制作、课堂组织都精心设计、打磨，有的老师提前把课件拿出来跟别的年级的老师讨论，有的老师在教案上写下了自己要说的每一句话，每一个环节的时间，完全就像对待市区级公开课那样。听课的老师也更认真了。听完课，大家都是马上提出意见和建议。这次的同课异构，让我眼前一亮。我自己学到了很多，也见证了老师们的进步和成长，看到了学生的`变化。

三、两校区携手课题研究

课题研究一直是我们教研组的短板。目前为止，五年的时间，关于英语专业方面的课题，我们组只有两个市级微型课题（分获二等奖和三等奖）。一直想做课题，也知道课题研究和教育教学其实是互相促进的关系，是非常有利于教育教学的开展的，但苦于自身水平的限制，一直没有清晰的思路。开学后不久的一天下午，我在办公室，鼓起勇气联系了教科所初中英语教研员刘老师，想向她寻求帮助和指导。没想到却意外争取到了一个省级子课题的机会。这让我十分欣喜。最终，在刘老师的指导下，我们和本部初中英语教研组一起开展了这个课题。从课题的具体选题、申报、确立、分工到开题报告的撰写，我们两校区教研组一起开会5次，大家都是摸着石头过河，查资料，网上培训，共享资源。每次开会前我的脑子都是蒙的，但开完会似乎一下就清醒了，思路就清晰了。看起来大家都不懂课题，但聚在一起过后，发现问题总能一个一个地解决。我想，不管这个子课题对于我们的职称有没有意义，有多大意义，至少，我们争取到了一个非常好的学习机会。相信通过这个课题，我们会在课题研究方面收获更多，对于以后其他课题的开展也非常有指导意义，同时，两校区老师们的凝聚力会更强。

以上就是本学期我们教研组的工作情况汇报。普普通通却实实在在。工作中也还有许多不足，老师们（包括我）仍有许多困惑。我觉得最大的困惑就是感觉时间不够，疲惫。其实本学期还有一些事情想做而没有做成。所以，如何更高效的解决教育教学的实际问题，让老师们解放出来，多点时间搞教研，以教研促教学，或者更好地把教学和教研融合起来，这将是我们下一步努力的方向。我们不知道实现这个目标要多久，但我们会一直努力前行。当然，我们也期望继续得到各位领导和同仁的指导和帮助。我的汇报到此结束，谢谢大家！

二、构建和谐高效课堂

现在正处于应试教育向素质教育转轨时期，既要求减轻负担，又要求提高教育质量，这就要求必须在课堂上下功夫，提高课堂效率:

1、认真备课。

大家都知道，备好课是上好课的前提，备课包括备课标、备教材、备学生、备教法，备学法。教师要根据课程标准要求，认真钻研教材，借助有关资料，了解、分析和掌握学生学习的态度、方法、能力和学习中存在的困难；选择最佳教学策略，确立合理的课堂教学模式，制定具体的教学环节，达到教学过程的最优化组合，有利于实现学生当堂掌握知识。看课程标标使我明白了课程的总目标，也深刻的理解了英语课程的工具性与人文性的统一，明白了英语教学在培养学生们初步的综合语言运用能力的基础上，还肩负着促进心智成熟，提高综合人文素养的重任，为教学的设计指明了方向。备教材，上课前翻阅各种材料、教师用书、学习资料及以往的相应试题，对于哪些是重点难点，哪些知识点扩展到什么程度，会以什么形式出题，做到心中有数。备学生，就是要了解学生的年龄特点、接受能力、知识储备情况，这样可以避免起点太高，学生听不懂，或起点太低，学生感到无聊的情况。备教法。每一级每个班学生特点各不相同，所以要注重仔细研究学生，采取适合学生的方法导入新课，用学生易于掌握的方法讲解新知，用学生感兴趣的方法组织课堂活动。

2、用激情带动学生，焕发课堂活力。

我要求自己在备好课的基础上，每节课都满怀热情地走进教室，哪怕身体不适、满心烦恼，在站上讲台，面向学生的那一刻，我都会面带笑容，因为快乐的情绪可以传染，如果你把快乐的情绪、积极地心态传染给学生，他的学习效率可能会成倍增长。

3、精讲多练，提高课堂效率。

初中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。如果仍然是“一张嘴，一支笔，从课首讲到课尾。”的教学模式，就会出现“老师讲得天花乱坠，学生听得昏昏欲睡”的现象。新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位，少讲多练。少讲并不意味着粗略讲解，一带而过。初中生的.接受能力还是有限，对于重难点的知识，根据学生特点细致的讲解，多举例，多操练，讲一点，练一点，讲练结合，让大多数学生都能跟上，参与活动。讲得太粗太快，学生跟不上，学不会，久而久之，就会慢慢失去学习兴趣。

4、 教法灵活，降低学习难度。

英语学科知识点多而杂，致使部分学生因记不住而失去兴趣。我会经常用各种灵活的活动帮助他们记忆，使学生轻松的掌握知识，提高兴趣。比如在初一教音标时，我用一个小故事把十二个单元音音素连起来，易于他们记忆，还有二十一个辅音字母的发音我也编了与发音相匹的动作帮助他们记忆。学习词汇eye时，用联想法可以帮助他们记忆，也可用谐音教学door，告诉学生门是用来防盗的，所

以门就读作door。Tomb坟墓的意思，发音是土墓，再比如umbrella谐音像俺不来了，因为下雨没伞。教学语法时，比如时态的教学，可以把几大时态的构成及用法比较对比学习，比较级最高级的教学，用实物或班里的同学设置真实的语境，操练句型。运用灵活的教学方法，可以降低学习的难度，激发学生们学习的兴趣。

三、经常查缺补漏，及时抓弱补偏

在提高课堂效率的基础上，还要指导、督促学生搞好课外复习，防止知识的遗忘，并经常进行检查测试，多批多改，及时发现问题，解决问题。对于存在的问题，要有针对性的进行训练，并在下一步的教学中继续加以渗透，穿插复习。对于存在问题的学生，耐心讲解，明确要求，基础知识，跟踪检查，人人过关。组织各小组互相检查所学基础知识，单词句型的听写背诵，用分数做好记录，一周一统记，对背的好的同学及时评价鼓励，对学困生先要做思想工作，多用激励性语言，调动其学习积极性。善于发现他们的每一点进步，及时进行表扬鼓励，肯定其成绩，提出进一步要求，引导他们争取更大的进步。班里一名学生，总成绩在班里十名左右，是升学的边缘生。我一看他的成绩，数理化很好，英语只有伍十几分，于是我找他谈话，给他分析了升学情况和他的现实情况，告诉他：“你只要把英语提上一点点，哪怕只考六十几分，你就有把握考上

高中，这一年，你应该在保持数理化的优势的基础上，向英语方面倾斜一下，多下点功夫，虽然你基础太差，但我向你保证，只要你这一年按我说的一步步做好，明年中考，你的成绩一定会有很大的进步”。他真的很信任我，每天很努力地学，一开始他默十个单词能错九个，我经常鼓励他，教给他发音规律、记单词的方法，他的词汇量慢慢多了起来。学短语句子时，他的困难就更大了，毕竟基础太差，他一个完整的句子也写不出来，看到他沮丧的样子，我一次次地鼓励他，并给他缩小范围，让他背最重点的，并在学习方法上给予指导，他就很高兴的学着。月考考试结束了，他的成绩有一点点起色，我看他很沮丧，又想放弃的样子，就又找他谈：“你只努力了两个月的时间，而其他同学是积累了两年，两个月想补上年的知识，那是不可能的。所以，你的努力现在不能马上见效，只要你不放弃，持之以恒，坚持到底，期末考试就会有惊喜的”。他又重新燃起了希望，艰难地努力着。每当他有一点点进步，我就及时地表扬了他，向他提出了进一步要求。他现在已经有了信心，学习劲头更足了。如果对学困生多一些鼓励，多一份耐心，多几次辅导，相信总有一天，他们会有进步的，哪怕只有一点点，也是成功。

四 对教师的理解

（1）教师首先是教育者，其次才是教学者。

（2）教师要自我发展。北京的培训真正让我了解了人外有人，天外有天的道理。无论是大学教授还是一线教师，都即是理论专家，又是实践高手。他们的秘诀就是要与时俱进，要与学生同步。北京四中李俊和老师已到退休年龄还每天写反思，听英文广播，每周看一本与教学有关的书籍。

（3）教师要合作发展。靠教师一人的力量很难解决一些教学中的实际困难。一个学校优异的成绩背后一定有一个团结合作和具有科研创新精神的团队。单打独斗无法创造一个学科的辉煌。

我想教育教学需要“众人划桨开大船”。你一个经验，我一个经验，就是两个经验；你一个方法，我一个方法，就是两个方法。教育资源需要共享，教学经验需要交流，教学方法需要互学。在教学中，教研组成员如果一起探讨教学困惑，教学方法，新的教学理念，我们一定能在提高自己教学能力、自身素质的同时，共同去打造我校高效教学的新局面。

我们的家长都非常重视孩子们的英语学习，大家都意识到英语学习不管是对我们的日常生活还是升学来说，都有着重要的作用，有着重大的意义。而我们中学阶段的教学目的在于培养学生的学习兴趣、良好的语言习惯、运用英语进展交际的`能力以及跨文化意识。因此，我的课堂也是围绕听、说、读、写几个方面对所学知识进展操练和运用。通过一段时间的教学，我发现这个班学生都特别负责，班风、学风也很好，最重要的是绝大多数的同学自尊心强，上进心强，这使我对他们充满信心。

但同样也发现了以下问题：

英语学习方面：

1、学习心态和态度不端正。少部分学生没有意识到学习英语的重要性，对于学习英语是抱着无态度。

2、学习习惯不够好。我要求学生在上课前集体朗读单词或课文，这对锻炼他们的英语口语和音准有很大的帮助，但是还是有好几个学生态度不端正，敷衍了事。我还要求读英语的时候用手指单词和句子，有利于对单词的记忆，并且能更好的集中注意力。但是有很多人没有这种习惯，眼睛盯着天花板，盯着窗户读的都有，甚至还有的同学边发呆边跟着读，这样就没有效果。还存在着严重的畏难情绪，我给的问题或是阅读材料还刚出来就有人抱怨“我不会做”、“这么难”、“看不懂”，我会反问他们“你还没看题怎么知道不会做?遇到困难首先想到的不是解决问题而是逃避，那么你永远不会进步”。这段时间这种情况几乎没有了。

3、少数同学根底不好。到现在26个字母还读不全、默不全。这也是颇让人头疼的问题。

4、阅读能力欠佳，有待提高。阅读在今后的升学考试，包括中考、高考、研究生考试以及大学英语四、六级考试中都占有很大的分值。但我们的学生对于阅读暂时还没有概念。我要求他们把阅读材料读三遍，第一遍泛读，也就是浏览;第二遍精读，把生词划出来，根据上下文理解单词的意思;第三遍答复以下问题，但是很少有同学能够严格按照要求完成，往往是读了一遍就不想读了。 针对以上问题，我也研究了一些方法和策略，需要各位家长的配合和支持。

1、催促学生在家听英语磁带，每周不少于1小时，最好能每天坚持听10—15分钟，这将对孩子的学习有很大帮助。

2、争取消化当天所学的单词，不要积压任务。我会在每单元完毕的时候组织一次听写，并要求学生带回家给家长过目。

3、请家长催促孩子在家里完成家庭作业，以免他们来学校在匆忙之中互相抄袭。有时的默写作业我也会烦请各位家长签字，这也是为了给学生一点点压力，让他们知道父母会经常检查他们的作业本，一定要认真写才行。家长可以让学生自己默写或者报中文意思都可以，但最重要的是在学生默完后，催促他们对着书本更正。

4、每一个单元都有阅读的部分，并且附有课后习题。如果你的孩子英语根底不是很好，可以催促他们先在家，做适当的预习。 生物学习方面：

每个学生对这个世界的事物充满了好奇心，上课时气氛活泼，积极表现，课堂作业很认真，家庭作业也能按时完成，考试成绩优异。

总之，我和各位家长有着共同的心愿，都想尽自己最大的努力去培养这些孩子，他们个个都聪明、可爱，只是有些孩子的潜能还没有得到充分的开掘。
