people remain puzzled in spite of their great effort to understand the endless questions，so they invented the all—embracing word "predestination". have you heard about the sayings like："predestination will definitely bring you together despite the great distance while without predestination，you’ll never know each other even though you are standing face to face."
in fact，the so—called "predestination" is often a kind of coincidence，even a kind of accident. does anyone know anything about his previous life or his after life？what could he do even if he knew them？giving up today is the same as giving up tomorrow.
predestination needs us to strive for；friendship needs us to maintain；good will needs us to treasure and future needs us to create.（there is no savior，nor goddess of mercy who once saved people in the past but cannot do anything to help the people at the present.）

Hello everyone, the topic of my speech today is "raising the sail of entrepreneurship".
University Campus used to be the birthplace of new ideas, new science and new culture. When we re-examine today's university campus according to this concept which has been inherited for more than 20 years, we suddenly find that the students are inevitably assimilated by the broader and more tempting world outside the courtyard wall. The era of white clothes is over, and college students are more realistic in the form of employment, going abroad to make money and even paying debts. Coupled with the fierce financial storm, more and more college students are facing the embarrassing problem of unemployment after graduation. Facing the severe situation, I can't help asking: college students, are you ready?
"Four dreams of youth" tells us that the ideal of life and the dream of youth should be realized by wisdom. The key is to persistently create and grasp opportunities. Nowadays, the party and the state have issued many policies to encourage and support college students' entrepreneurship. Why can't we accept the invitation of the times and embark on the road of unlimited hope? Maybe you need to ask what entrepreneurship is. I have been in university for about one year. during my stay here, i came to realize that university life is like drinking coke. we experience all tastes of life here, sour, sweet, bitter and hot.
I am from province, which is far away from here. i often miss my mum, friends, and relatives in my hometown. however, i can't see them very often. so loneliness always keeps me company. i am sad that i can't be there with them.
Lucky for me, life in university is rich and colorful. with more free time,we can do many more things besides study, such as joining societies clubs, and taking part-time jobs. such activities not only make our life more col frustrated that we even burst into tears.
Drinking coke is wonderful, despitorful, but also help us improve all kinds of skills. the university is a society miniature, what we learn here will benefit our future path in life will not always be smooth. setbacks can't be avoided. failing an important exam, break up with boy or girl friend, or refused by a promising company, such setbacks are likely to get us down. sometimes we fell so the undesirable consequent hiccups. it's bitter, sour and peppery, but also

since the quality of honesty applies to all behaviors, one cannot refuse to consider factual information, for example, in an unbiased manner and still claim that one's knowledge, belief or position is an attempt to be truthful. such a belief is clearly a product of one's desires and simply has nothing to do with the human ability to know. basing one's positions on what one wants — rather than unbiased evidence gathering — is dishonest even when good intentions can be cited — after all even hitler could cite good intentions and intended glory for a select group of people. clearly then, an unbiased approach to the truth is a requirement of honesty.
because intentions are closely related to fairness and certainly affect the degree of honesty/dishonesty, there is a wide spread confusion about honesty--and a generalbelief that being dishonest means that one always correctly understands if their behavior is either honest or dishonest. self-perception of our morality is non-static and volatile. it's often at the moment we refuse to consider other perspectives that there is a clear indication we are not pursuing the truth, rather than simply and exclusively at the moment we can muster up evidence that we are right. socrates had much to say about truth, honesty and morality, and explained that if people really understood that their behavior was wrong — then they simply wouldn't do it — by definition. unfortunately, honesty in the western tradition has been marginalized to specific instances — perhaps because a thorough understanding of honesty collides with ideologies of all types. ideologies and idealism often exaggerate and suppress evidence in order to support their perspectives — at the expense of the truth. this process erodes the practice and understanding of honesty. to an ideologist the truth quite often becomes insignificant, what matters most are their ideals and what ever supports their desires to enjoy and spread those ideals.
human beings are inherently biased about what they believe to be good due to individual tastes & backgrounds, but once one understands that a decidedly biased approach to what is true — is inherently dishonest, one can also understand how idealism and ideology have poorly served the quest for an honest, moral society. both honesty and morality require that we base our opinions about what is good — upon unbiased ideas of what is true — rather than vice versa (determining what is true based on what we feel is good) — the way all ideologies would have us believe.

Global Citizenship Begins at Home
When I saw this title , I felt a little nervous, if I could expound this topic for you clearly, maybe my wisdom was enough to help me write a masterpiece in every field. Unfortunately , I cannot. And fortunately, in less than 3 minutes will you know my ideas.
I think the most unbelievable news in the last century is we are genetically 99.9% the same. Do you feel a little excited, now? I did, when I first time heard it from the radio. And suddenly realized that we are born to be the same. This eye-catching news approved what we called “global village”, and then told us we are born with a “global citizenship” just like with the character.
However, same to the character, global citizenship is not only accepted by oneself ,but also by others. As traditional Chinese saying goes, “thousands of miles should begin at first step”. Only if we have a good beginning at home — step first we firmly stepped, it would be easy for other global citizens to admit us .
But you may feel a little bored to listen to my lecture and ask “what do you really want us to know?”
So let’s pay attention to our motherland. China has set us good examples to favor the title “global citizenship begins at home”. More than a hundred years ago, when the old Chinese government limited economic growth and lock his doors against the world. He missed the best opportunity to develop himself. He abandoned home, but was eager for an absolute global citizenship. He wanted to ignore the first step but jump far. Let alone other countries with an ulterior motive, I cannot agree. But now everything is changing. China is enjoying his broaden global citizenship in global affairs. Only when he is getting stronger himself, the global citizenship is truly owned by himself.
