When i was a naughty boy, may be because of the influence of the film.xiao bing zhang ga,my dream was to be a soldier just like zhang ga.i thought if i was a soldier, i should be able to swim, dive and climb trees as he did.it seemed to be very wonderful.so i began to learn swimming, diving and climbing trees.i practiced every day and finally i could do them well.but when i entered junior high school and had the military training.i suddenly found that being a soldier was very difficult and i wasnt strong enough to bear it .i had to give my dream up.
but i wasnt discouraged, and i had new aim, which was to be a postman, or rather to be a newspaper boy.as a newspaper boy.i could speed along streets on a bike and throw newspapers onto every porch.thats also very cool.so i started learning to ride a bicycle.after the everyday practice, i could go very fast by bicycle.but to my disappointment, the job which i wanted only existed in western counties not in china, because there was no porch in china.and chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes from very narrow entrances.the job was far from what i had expected.so once again my dream fell through.
perhaps you have had the same experience as i and most of your dreams havent come true yet.but i think it doesnt matter, because if you have a dream, youll make many efforts to realize it.this course is really important.if i hadnt dreamt of being a soldier or a newspaper boy.i wouldnt have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a bicycle.even if our dream cant come true, youll learn much from the efforts you have made.so what i want to tell us is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control our lives .it is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful

Kids for Kerry is a grassroots organization of kids that support John Kerry, want to help their futures, and get active in politics.
When my parents went to see Teresa Heinz Kerry speak, they told me that she was amazing! -- and that they thought John Kerry would make a great President. I decided to find out more about John Kerry. I talk about what I learned by using my ABCs.
“A” is America. John Kerry is a hero to America, and he will help our futures. He is a great and positive role model.
“B” is Better education. John Kerry wants to make class sizes smaller, so that children get the best part out of learning. He wants to help teachers because being a teacher is educating children, and letting them out into the world to do good things.
“C” is Compassion towards children. John Kerry wants to make sure that health care is not a privilege, but it is something that we can all afford.
This summer, I was supposed to go to my favorite camp. But instead, I decided to go to the John Kerry office every day. Kids can really help!
On , we have an interactive presidential quiz. There are 270 questions for the electoral votes John Kerry will win. Plus, 25 questions to make up for Florida from the last election.
Our next goal is to have a petition for “National No Name-Calling Day,” a day that the candidates dont say anything negative about one another. When our Vice President had a disagreement with a Democratic senator, he used a REALLY BAD word.

Last week, I tookpart in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There weretwelve students in the final contest. I was one of them. Fifteen minutes beforemy turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines andorganized what I was going to say.
However, when I stood in front of all judgesand students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty. Then I took adeep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as goodas I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whoseprocess was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I amsure I will be better next time.
