《玩偶之家》中的女主人娜拉表面上是一个未经世故开凿的青年妇女，一贯被人唤作“小鸟儿”、“小松鼠儿”，实际上上她性格善良而坚强，为了丈夫和家庭不惜忍辱负重，甚至准备牺牲自己的`名誉。她因挽救丈夫的生命，曾经瞒着他向人借了一笔债；同时想给垂危的父亲省却烦恼，又冒名签了一个字。就是由于这件合情合理的行为，资产阶级的"不讲理的法律"却逼得她走投无路。更令她痛心的是，真相大白之后，最需要丈夫和她同舟共济、承担危局的时刻，她却发现自己为之作出牺牲的丈夫竟是一个虚伪而卑劣的市侩之人。可当敲诈之人寄回借据后，丈夫又假装大度原谅她。这一刻，她终于觉醒过来，认识到自己婚前不过是父亲的玩偶，婚后不过是丈夫的玩偶，从来就没有独立的人格。于是，她毅然决然抛弃丈夫和孩子，从囚笼似的家庭出走了。

in the novel, though the young oliver again and again fell for conspiracies of those hideous thieves, who tried to torture oliver’s body and poisoned oliver’s heart intensely, he always lived on and tried hard to seek for his own life. then i realized what supported him all through were actually beliefs. in most cases, what you believe is what you’ll become. believe that you are unlimited, that you can do anything you commit to doing, and when you do, your accomplishments will know no bounds. you control your beliefs and that is how you ultimately control your life. it’s all dictated by your attitude.
in the final analysis, love and care contain numerous forms, there are love of forgiveness, love of trust, etc. but they all come from your beliefs in life. when someone tells you he’s deceived you, forgive him anyway, when someone tells you what he’s done, trust him anyway, and when you face adversities while chasing your dreams, think about your beliefs, then what hinders you will become a piece of cake in no time.

与鲍小姐之遇，只能说是闲来的调情，算不得爱情，进驻“围城”的序幕应该是从苏文纨开始。但苏文纨并不是他进驻的对象，而是苏小姐的表妹唐晓芙，一个清秀如水，纯比芙蓉的女孩。鸿渐为博其好感，尽显文采风流，顺利的将自己的爱情之船搁浅在晓芙的城门之外。然值此之时，事态骤变，在他与苏小姐的感情终结之时，他对晓芙的爱恋与追求也如同“一题清纯而无解得代数，一双达不到岸的桨橹”，失去了前景。君子成人之美，不成人之恶，小人反是，苏文纨无意之中扮演了小人，斩断了方鸿渐与唐晓芙的情缘。这次的情感创伤让方鸿渐的生命骤然黯淡，之后的爱情生活，他难以自主，任由孙柔嘉将自己引入她的“围城”。
孙柔嘉为了摆布这场婚姻，可谓是周密策划，苦心经营。她先是故作娇柔，事事请教方先生，以显其初入社会的无知与单纯，激起了方鸿渐的怜香惜玉之情与男人天性中的保护欲，成功地打了一场漂亮的心理战;另一方面，这也使赵辛楣不自觉地开起了二人的玩笑，结果如她所愿，真作假来假亦真，虚虚实实的连当事人自己都难辨真伪。接着在赵辛楣离开后，她抓住了方鸿渐扎根于心的责任感和怜爱之心，谎称家父来信，已知二者之间的谣传，使方鸿渐生发出沉重的负疚感。与之同时，也巧妙地利用了李梅亭与陆子萧逼迫他与方鸿渐的契机，扮出一副楚楚可怜之态，“寻求”方鸿渐的保护，有意与他暧昧不清，从而激发血气方刚的方鸿渐糊里糊涂地说出二者即将订婚的“打算”。孙柔嘉机关算尽太聪明，反误了二者的青春与爱情，围城之内的他们大吵夹带着小吵，使婚姻一步步地走向荒原。他们的婚姻最初即带着算计，缺乏牢固的基础，有何来长久安定?这座围城的土崩瓦解，可谓是宿命之中的宿命。
海子说，在夜色里，我有三次受难：生存，流浪与爱情。纵观方鸿渐的婚姻与爱情，他无疑是个失败者，而他的生存，也如同婚姻一样坎坷艰难。现今究其背后的原因，我觉得，则是多方面的。
首先，从个人角度来讲，缘其自身的懦弱、优柔寡断的性格与残存的良知。对于与苏文纨之间的感情，他当断不断，使苏小姐受伤更深。怎知物理学上的作用力与反作用力关系的原理竟然适用于爱情，苏小姐报复性地将伤痛通过唐晓芙转嫁给了方鸿渐。而对于唐晓芙的误解，他丝毫没有反击，任由事态恶化，可见“清者自清，浊者自浊”并非真理。在那个大雨滂沱的街头，方鸿渐木然呆立在那里，当雨水与泪水交织化作痛楚在内心翻涌之时，这边的唐晓芙也深怀歉疚与期望，懊悔方才的言辞。山依旧，水依旧，我脚下已不是昨日的水流，事以至此，方鸿渐认为回天乏术，他放纵了自己的怯懦，荒芜了他与晓芙之间的爱情。怀抱着残存的良知，她对孙柔嘉所说的“二者之间谣传广布”，有的只是愧疚与自责。为了弥补，他“舍身”保护她，乖乖的进入了孙柔嘉的爱情陷阱。
其次，再结合当时的时代背景来看，也有着深刻的社会原因。在那样一个战火纷飞、乾坤颠倒的乱世，优秀的知识分子尚且难以施展自我，更何况方鸿渐这样一个志大才疏，只会些空谈的“纯粹”的知识分子呢?另一方面，他不是官僚，可以摆弄权势;他没有深厚的政治背景，可以背靠大树好乘凉;他也无法放弃那份简易的道德观念，像李梅亭那样做一个满肚子男盗女娼，表面上道貌岸然的伪君子，或者成为韩学愈这等崇洋媚外之流，肚内空空如也，却能够恬不知耻地拿着冒牌大学的帽子欺世盗名。卑鄙是卑鄙者的通行证，既然你不够优秀，也不够卑鄙的彻底，又何以奢望能够游任于这种世道而左右逢源呢?方鸿渐只是当时他这个群体的一个代表，他们带着文化人的痴梦与清高，渴望在这种困境下生存下去并且希图在上流社会中生存地有滋味有地位。他们坚守着浪漫，敢于梦想，在梦想的过程中，他们以“文化人”的身份为傲，将自身的光环放大到极限。可悲的是，他们并不了解自身与现实的脱节。所以一旦深入社会，梦想与现实冲突，并且是发生必然性的冲突之时，他们猝然间困惑了，就像在漫长的黑夜中赶路的小孩突然遇到刺眼的车灯扑向自己，顿失所依，所能够做的似乎只有傻立在那里等待着挣扎与死亡。是的，这个群体在与社会逐步的接轨过程中，潜意识里逐渐地形成了自己的阶层意识。他们意识到对于上流社会的人来说，文化不过是以一种附属品的形式存在着，他们意识到作为一个纯粹的文化人生存的艰难，意识到自身的弱势。于是面对一个个突袭和冲撞，他们怯于行动，他们不由自主的后退了，他们脆弱的如同阳光下的泡沫，色彩纷呈，却不堪一击……
所以说，方鸿渐的爱情的失败与事业的颓废，为其性格使然，更是那个时代对他的遗弃与放逐。他们的结局或许只是其个人命运的偶然，但那却是那个时代造就出的必然。时代在《围城》之外塑造了千万个“方鸿渐”，他们，迷茫在事业、生存与爱情的“围城”内外辗转徘徊……
时间的光华在指尖掠过，匆匆地。借助着陈旧的文字，我们在古老的围城内外翻动着支砖片瓦进行着情感的考量与真理的探寻。不同的时代，却是相同的主题——爱情与婚姻。
尘封的历史携带着些许的苍凉，逃过一个个寂寞的黑夜，在我们的眼前演绎出一曲又一曲的爱情悲歌。确切地说，年轻的我，尚无法回答出真正的爱情是什么，但是我想，无论它多么的复杂与神秘，都不会逃过“爱情、友情、亲情”构成的情感世界的公共准则。
爱情的双方要爱地宽容，感情地付出没有天枰可以衡量，难以绝对的公正公平。但是，它也绝不是宽容地放弃原则，放弃独立的人格，爱地低声下气、委曲求全，没有了自尊。两人之间不仅要看到彼此，还要顾及彼此的亲人、朋友，因为对方不是你的私有财产可以收藏，而是一个社会人。真正的爱情既不是守株待兔，痴等着“唐晓芙”抛开误解，投怀送抱;也不是一场战争，需要你用一颗算计的心去谋划出一场一厢情愿的婚姻。情感的演绎就像一堂教学课——众人皆知的教学内容提不起学生的兴趣，授课内容要有深度，师生交流要有新意，老师与学生之间要注意互留神秘;课堂氛围的好坏取决于教师与学生的配合，任何一方失去了激情与主动，这堂教学课将会注定了枯燥无味。
青春的烟雨涤净岁月的纤尘，催醒了情感的春笋，同时，也催生出了奋斗的气息。而今风华正茂，正是我们潜心静气、力学笃行之时，方鸿渐的时代早已远去，但“方鸿渐”仍然大量存在着，尤其在我们的菁菁校园之中。他们在大好的时代环境中蹉跎青春，沉溺于星辉月华下的“你浓我浓”。待到芳华已尽，则陷入方鸿渐的境遇，或孤影自怜，慨叹时运不济，或仰首瞻望那些成功的花儿。可是那些成功的花儿，冰心说道，当初它的芽儿，早已浸透了奋斗的泪泉，洒遍牺牲的血雨。
人生天地两仪间，且住百来年，而这百来年的岁月，不过白驹过隙，忽然而已。车水马龙的十字路口，何赴何从，值得我们深深的去思量……
